Many great jazz players have discovered the world of folk and traditional music as a source for their ideas. Wolfe does it the other way around. He learned to play like James Taylor from the age of 9 and at 25 he was established in the world of Asturian music.\u00a0<\/p>

Jazz came little by little. His music combines rustic sounds like that of Mother Maybelle Carter to "the cool" Miles Davis, from Woody Guthrie to Muddy Waters, from Doc Watson to Billie Holiday, Pat Metheny to Ry Cooder... Hoot 'n' Holler are Wolfe and P\u00fari Pen\u00edn. They have a very careful repertoire of American folk music. The Los Gatos Canyon concert is a special concert, with a repertoire of the best historical songs of civil rights, human rights, anti-war and more. Wolfe has been collaborating with this blues accordionist for more than 20 years. He has recorded on almost all of Wolfe's sessions. Maraya Zydeco is also the name of the blues and zydeco band that they have had for a long time.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

A folk group formed in 1998 by Wolfe. It also encompasses projects and recordings by the group \u00c1stura, the Torner show, and a long-term collaboration with Anabel Santiago from 2003 to 2009. Their repertoire includes 25 years' worth of popular songs beloved by the Asturian public, and they have significant plans for new recordings with recent additions to the band.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
